Richie also attended Antelope Valley College. His love for music started when he was a teenager, where he performed with many local bands, on various television shows, in concerts & recordings. In 1996, Richie and his brother, Albert, formed the Boulevard Knights with their childhood friend, Abel. "I have been playing guitar for 40 years and my musical experience covers many styles of music that include R&B, latin rock, jazz and salsa. I played with a well-known latin band, Batuka, in the Antelope Valley in the late 1970's.
